Extra depth and a roomy, seam-free interior take pressure off bunions, hammertoes, and sensitive or swollen feet.

What patients are saying
So kind, patient and helpful
"Tim, the owner, was so kind and patient and very helpful! My mom got a pair of OrthoFeet Nira sneakers and she was so happy!!! She's been dealing with bursitis, tendinitis, and plantar fasciitis so we were so happy to find a local shop where she could try on a good pair of shoes. Highly recommend!!!!!"
12+ hours on my feet without pain
"What a fabulous store, owned by a father and his daughter. I recently started a job in healthcare, requiring I be on my feet for 12+ hours per shift, and my feet felt broken after three days in a row. Both the owner and his daughter were so friendly and helpful, and the owner really knew his stuff! Just in the few minutes of trying on shoes that actually fit MY feet, I could already tell the difference."
Above & beyond service
"Thank you so much to the Manager of Comfort Footworks in Matthew's NC. She went the extra mile in customer service! She hand delivered our elderly mom's orthopedic sneakers to her nursing home room. I am in Savannah Ga and couldn't pick up the shoes. Seniors are often a forgotten group of people. Thank you so much for treating her to this surprise."

Details
Orthofeet Onyx, a men's safety-toe work shoe in a synthetic upper with Orthofeet's hands-free heel. Step on the back, it folds, then springs back and holds. No laces at the start of a shift and nothing to catch.
Composite toe cap rated to ASTM F2413-24, crush-resistant upper, slip-resistant tread. Ortho-Cushion sole with a mild rocker, removable orthotic insole, extra-depth last, seam-free interior. Takes a custom orthotic. Onyx is not listed as waterproof; for wet floors, Graphite.
Medium, Wide or X-Wide? Medium (D) if your regular shoes fit across the ball of the foot. Wide (2E) if you size up for room or have a bunion. X-Wide (4E) for a bulky orthotic, swelling on shift, or extra-depth. The toe cap is rigid, so err wide. (704) 846-0301 to talk it over.
Stocked in Black only, sizes 7 to 14 in half sizes to 12. Screened and stocked by Paul Henderson, C.Ped, at our Matthews, NC store. Graphite is the boot version, waterproof, with ankle coverage and the same toe. Deciding between the two? I wrote up Onyx vs Graphite.
