Details
Orthofeet Roam, a women's classic leather sneaker with Orthofeet's hands-free heel. Step on the heel counter, it collapses, then springs back up, so the shoe goes on without bending or tying. It is the simplest-looking shoe in the women's line, a white leather sneaker with a thick sole.
Max-cushion Ortho-Cushion sole with a slip-resistant tread, removable orthotic insole, extra-depth last, padded interior. Takes a custom orthotic. The sole is thicker than Wander's, so pick Roam if heel pain or a hard floor is the problem.
Medium, Wide or X-Wide? Medium (B) if your regular shoes fit across the ball of the foot with no pinching. Wide (D) if you size up for room or have a bunion. X-Wide (2E) for a bulky orthotic, swelling, or extra-depth. Not sure which, (704) 846-0301.
