Details
Orthofeet Verno, a men's ankle-height leather boot with Orthofeet's hands-free heel. Step down on the heel counter, it collapses, then springs back up around the heel, so the boot goes on standing up with no laces. It is the boot for a man who needs ankle coverage and a real sole but cannot bend to a boot anymore.
Slip-resistant Ortho-Cushion sole with a mild rocker, removable orthotic insole, extra-depth last, padded interior, wide toe box. Takes a custom orthotic. Verno is not waterproof; it is for dry and damp days, not standing water.
Medium, Wide or X-Wide? Medium (D) if your regular shoes fit across the ball of the foot with no pressure. Wide (2E) if you size up for room or have a bunion. X-Wide (4E) for a bulky orthotic, swelling, or extra-depth. With a heavy sock, go wider if between two. (704) 846-0301.
